Anson County Manager Lawrence Gatewood has shared the most recent aerial shots of the new emergency services center on County Club Road.

“The construction is on schedule to be completed in December 2013 and the project is still on budget,” he said. ” We continue to work closely with our partners at Moseley Architects, Messer Construction Company, Anson Bank and Trust, and the North Carolina 911 Board to make sure that the facility is well constructed and equipped, and completed on time and within budget. We’re very pleased with the progress.”

In June, the North Carolina 911 Board voted unanimously to award Anson County Emergency Communications $949,000 for use on the construction of the new emergency services center.

The 24,000-square-foot emergency services center will house the 911 center, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Fire Marshal/Emergency Operations Director and a dedicated Emergency Operations Center.

Chris Malinowski with Messer Construction Company said that pavement should go down in the next month, weather permitting.
