The Anson County Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Wadesboro Christmas Parade on Thursday evening, hosted by Sen. Gene McLaurin and Rep. Mark Brody. The parade featured a slew of marching bands and floats, as well as a couple of fire queens, fire trucks and fire prevention characters like Smokey the Bear and Sparky the Dog.
After the parade, the town of Wadesboro held a tree lighting in the town square, and Anson County Partnership for Children hosted a visit with Santa at their office on Greene Street.
More photos from all three events can be found on The Anson Record’s Facebook page.
