PEACHLAND
Marie H. Goodman, 85, died Friday Dec. 2, 2011 at the Jesse Helms Center in Monroe.
She was the daughter of the late William E. and Glennie Horne.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James David Harris, and her second husband; Mike Wilson Goodman, Jr.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Deep Springs Baptist Church. Interment was held in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Bill D. Harris of Smyrna, S.C., L. Michael Harris of Marshville, Robin James Harris Goodman of Wingate, and Denise H. Austin and Tina G. Weaver, both of Marshville; one brother, C.W. Horne of Marshville; and one sister, Mildred Raye of Peachland.
Morgan & Son Funeral Home of Marshville is in charge of the arrangements.
