The Wadesboro Fire Department named its 2015 fire queen on Nov. 19. Katelyn Stovall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stovall, attends Anson County Early College and plans to attend North Carolina State University or the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Stovall plays softball for Anson High School and is a member of the National Honor Society. She also attends Brown Creek Baptist Church and works part-time at Brown Creek Animal Hospital. In her spare time, Stovall enjoys working on her grandfather’s farm.
