South Piedmont Community College will hold its first Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing Summer Camp for rising 11th- and 12th-graders on June 24.

The camp is FREE and lunch is provided. Parents are also invited to come learn about one of the fastest-growing and best-paying career fields available.

SPCC staff have put together a day of fun activities and learning at the college’s Center for Technology & Health Education (3508 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe). Space is limited, but a few spaces for the camp remain.

To learn more about the camp or to register, visit www.spcc.edu.

In addition to college faculty and staff, manufacturing companies like Greiner Bio-One and Turbomeca will be on hand to help students and their parents explore careers in advanced manufacturing and learn about apprenticeship opportunities, education and career planning.
