Barbara Jean Burr, 67, passed away on April 9, 2012 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C.

She was born on April 4, 1945 in Rockingham, a daughter of the late Daniel and Bernice Coble. She was married to David Burr for almost 50 years.

She is survived by her husband David; children, Tammy Eitzman, Ondria (Victor) Tucker, and David Burr Jr. (Rebecca); grandchildren; great-granddaughter; brothers, D.A. Coble and Jerry Coble; and sisters, Betty Coble and Lois Goodwin.

She served faithfully at her church, Abundant Life of Florence.

The family will greet friends at Leavitt Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, 2036 Morven Road in Wadesboro. A celebration service of life will also be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, at Abundant Life Church in Florence, S.C.
