The Faith-Based Center of Hope performed community service Nov. 23-24, helping the elderly prepare for the winter. Robert Colf of Taskmasters and Selectronics donated all the fire wood. Brandon Thomas, James “Mack” McSween, William Sturdivant and Vancine Sturdivant helped load and unload at the homes of the elderly.

Those who know of anyone in need of fire wood or assistance in preparing their homes for the winter are encouraged to contact the center.

Sturdivant, CEO of the Faith-Based Center of Hope, said, “As our President Barack Obama stated, we are here for all citizens. Party affiliation does not matter. We are all United States citizens.”

You may contact Sturdivant at 704-848-4412.
