Pee Dee Electric enjoys being able to take part in the communities efforts to improve growth and amenities for its citizens. During a monthly meeting of the Anson County Economic Development Association, Pee Dee Electric CEO Donnie Spivey presented a check to the county, marking the first monetary contribution towards the funding of the Anson County Agri-Civic Center. These funds were made possible with a matching grant from Co-Bank, a leader in delivering financial solutions to some of America’s most successful businesses since 1916. Co-Bank specializes in U.S. agribusiness, rural communications and energy systems.

Lawrence Gatewood, Anson County manager, said, “Your generous contribution will go a long way in helping this much needed project move from conception to reality over the next five years.”
