Dr. William Barber, president of the N.C. NAACP State Conference of Branches has accepted an invitation from the Anson County Branch of the NAACP to be in Wadesboro on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m. to address a community awareness rally. The rally will be held at the South Piedmont Community College Lockhart-Taylor Center located on N. Washington Street.
There will be an assembly at the crime scene on Salisbury street at 4 p.m. to march to the location of the rally.
