Earlier this month, crews with SRM, Inc., began work on replacing the sidewalks around the Anson County Courthouse. On Friday, May 25, the concrete was poured for new sidewalks on each side of the courthouse. After the concrete was poured, workers covered it so that the new sidewalks would set over the weekend. The next phase of the project will be to replace the front courtyard, which should begin shortly, director of facilities maintenance Jeff Waisner said on Friday.
