The Lady Bearcats have won their first two volleyball matches of the season.
Anson played against Forest Hills on Aug. 13, winning 3-1.
The ladies followed that win with another victory after facing East Montgomery last Wednesday. They won 3-1, taking the sets 25-3, 25-9, and 25-11, respectively.
The team faced the Richmond Raiders on Tuesday after press time, but the results will be posted online and in next week’s issue of The Anson Record. They will face South Stanly next Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Anson High School.
