Fairgoers could admire over 200 entries at the 11th annual Anson County Ag Expo and Fair last weekend.
A total of 57 people submitted 248 entries into the ag fair in a slew of categories, earning a total of $847 in premium winnings, according to Anson County Extension Office director Janine Rywak.
There were roughly 50 more entries and 17 more participants in the ag fair this year than there were last year, Rywak said.
Entries included fruits, vegetables, paintings, photos, artwork, flowers, and a wide array of craft projects that showcased local talent.

Artwork of all kinds were on display at the annual Ag Expo & Fair Saturday in Wadesboro.
The annual Ag Expo & Fair also featured a youth livestock show, held at Circle G Arena in Lilesville.
A number of Anson County youth participated in the livestock show.
