Polkton- Mike E. Phillips, 52, passed away on June 10, 2011 at Hospice House of Union County. He was born on May 15, 1959 to the late John Cecil Phillips and Ann Batten Phillips. Memorial Services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with visitation following the service.

Phillips was the owner/operator of Fat Boyz Rollback Service.

In addition to his mother Ann, he is survived by his wife, Angela H. Phillips and one son, Travis J.M. Phillips, all of Polkton; two brothers, David Phillips of Richlands and Ronnie Phillips of Faison; one sister, Cindy Phillips of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Phillips.
