Tommy and Amy Thorpe Edwards of Polkton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Caroline Edwards, to Kyle James Purser of Monroe.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Anson High School. She is currently a registered medical assistant working for ExpressMed Medical Clinics in Concord. She also works part time with Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing.
The prospective groom is the son of Butch and Cindi Hatley Purser of Monroe. He is a 2006 graduate of Piedmont High School. He is currently employed by the Monroe Police Department as a patrol officer.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 29, 2012 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Polkton.
