PEACHLAND — Jennie Bet Treadaway, 74, of Peachland died Sept. 28, 2012 at the Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet.

Born Feb. 10, 1938 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Forest Tarlton and Margaret Luther Tarlton.

Funeral services were held Oct. 1 at Peachland Methodist Church with burial following in the Oakdale/Griffin Family Cemetery. The family received friends Sept. 30 at the Morgan & Son Funeral Home in Marshville.

Treadaway is survived by her husband, Robert B. Treadaway Sr., of the home; sons, Bob Treadaway Jr., Todd Treadaway and wife Wendy, all of Peachland, Shawn Treadaway and wife Lisa of Hickory; daughter, Wendy Redmond and husband George F. of Peachland; sister, Carolyn Cassidy and husband Jimmy of Advance; and six grandchildren.

Morgan & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
