• Little Rock Tabernacle Holiness Church will hold an appreciation service for Ministers Michael and Kavis Smith at 3 p.m.

• Henry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lilesville will have the "Two Stages of the Gospel" program at 3 p.m. The speakers will be the Rev. James Smith of Mount Episcopal Church in Rockingham and the Rev. Shirley Herbert of West Rocky Ford Missionary Baptist Church.

• Mt. Pleasant Youth and Young Adults Choir will celebrate its third anniversary at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

• The pastor of Garris Grove Missionary Baptist Church's 12th anniversary will be celebrated with services at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dinner will be served after the morning service.

• Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Church will have a service to celebrate its pastor at 3 p.m.

• West Deep Creek MBC will have the annual Senior Citizen Program at 11 a.m. Dinner after service.

• Poplar Springs Baptist Church will have a "Growing up in Christ" service for local youth at 2:30 p.m.

• Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Peachland will host a performance by Rita Boyles at 6 p.m.

• Greater St. Mark Church of Deliverance will celebrate its anniversary at 7 p.m. each night.

• A revival will be held at 7 p.m. each night at Reaching the Lost Church of God.

March 28

• Greater St. Mark Church of Deliverance will have its All Saints Gathering at 7 p.m.

• Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church will have the third annual Family Conference at 9 a.m.. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. There will be classes for couples, singles, widows, youth and teens. There will also be praise dancers and mimes. Lunch will be served and prizes awarded.

March 29

• Greater St. Mark Church of Deliverance will have its All Saints Gathering at 11 a.m.

• Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Church to have an Anson County Singing Convention at 11:30 a.m.

• There will be a musical concert at Lakeside Holiness Church at 2:30 p.m. It will feature the Kirkpatrick Family of Charlotte, Disciple of Joy from Salisbury and the Family Singers from Wingate and many more.

• Crown & Glory Bible Center will have a dedication service at 6 p.m.

April 4

• Crown & Glory Bible Center will have a conference for pastors and leaders at 6 p.m.

• Gatewood Station A.M.E. Zion Church ushers will be holding their annual program at Wadesboro Primary School at 6 p.m. The theme for the program this year is a Flag Tea. The speaker is Anthony Hall, a member of the N.C. Army National Guard serving in the Wadesboro unit. He is a veteran of two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Entertainment will be provided by the Boogie Woogie Girls and Bugle Boy. Tickets are $7.

April 5

• Bessie Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church will have its Usher Board program at 3 p.m.

• Calvary Episcopal Church in Wadesboro holds the following services: Beginning the first Sunday after Labor Day, the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month, Holy Eucharist will be at 11 a.m.; on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, morning prayer is at 11 a.m. Beginning June 3, on the first, third and and fifth Sundays of the month, Holy Eucharist will be at 10 a.m.; on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, Holy Eucharist will be at 8 a.m. and morning prayer at 11 a.m. Throughout the year, Wednesday evening prayer will be at 5:45 p.m. Thursdays, Holy Eucharist will be at 7:15 a.m.
