The Wadesboro Police Department is investigating a possible meth lab on Morven Road.
The police received a call from the property owner of a residence on Morven Road who suspected some kind of drug activity at the house. When police arrived they located components consistent with a meth lab. The property owner had no knowledge of it, according to WPD Chief Thedis Spencer.
The police contacted the F.B.I. and collected evidence. They are currently waiting for lab reports to come back from the lab. Charges are pending at this time, according to Spencer.
