Ethelyn Bernice Colson Little, 74, died March 29, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services were held April 2 at New Piney Grove Ministries with Pastor Perry Hester officiating. Burial was at the Chestnut A.M.E. Zion Church cemetery in Mt. Gilead.
She was born in Anson June 13, 1935 to the late George and Ola Bell Smith-Colson.
She is survived by six daughters, Rosa Little, Sallie Little, Gloria Worley, Debra Little and Stacie Baldwin, all of Mt. Gilead; Patricia Watkins of Charlotte; four sons, Calvin Little Jr., Lewis Little and Donald Little, all of Mt. Gilead, and James T. Little, of Butner; one brother, Emanuel "Fats" Colson, of Laurel, Md.; 30 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
The arrangements are in the care of Harris Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead.
