Wilson Jackson Williams, 66, of Whiteville and formerly of Anson and Union counties, died Jan. 20, 2010, at his residence.

Final rites were held at 11 a.m. Jan. 22 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with the Rev. Bud Parrish officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews at 4 p.m. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 21 at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Clive Jackson Williams and Myrtle Gordon Williams. He was retired from BB&T in Lumberton after 44 years.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cartrette Williams of the home; son, Joseph Williams and his wife, Liliana Williams of Indian Trail; daughter, Jacqueline Williams Koonce and her husband, Nick; and six grandchildren.
