A private service with interment was held at Fir Crest Cemetery.
He was born in Wadesboro on Dec. 28, 1928 to the late Horace Franklin Faulkner Sr. and Daisy Elizabeth (Honeycutt) Faulkner.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; children, Steve (Laurie) Faulkner of Enumclaw, Wash., Kim (Rory) Heide of West Salem, Ore., Doug (Debbie) Faulkner of Bellevue, Wash.; and brother, Ben, of Wadesboro.
The services are in the care of Farnstrom Mortuary.
