PEACHLAND — Peachland Remembers has been awarded a 3’x5’ American-made nylon Honor And Remember Flag by the Honor and Remember Organization to fly during their military warrior memorials.
“The primary vehicle for perpetual recognition is a specific and dedicated symbol of remembrance created by this organization: the Honor and Remember Flag, which is intended to fly continuously as a tangible and visible reminder to all Americans of the lives lost in defense of our national freedoms,” reads the website.
The mission and goal of the Honor and Remember Organization is “to perpetually recognize the sacrifice of America’s military fallen service members and their families. The organization pays tribute to all military lives lost, not only while serving on active duty but also as a result of serving. Military deaths in all wars or conflicts and all branches of service from our nation’s inception are recognized.”
Their objectives are to establish, educate, present, and comfort.
To sign the petition to have this flag recognized as the National Memorial Flag for Fallen Military Warriors and their Gold Star Families, go to their website https://www.honorandremember.org/honor-and-sacrifice/. You can order an Honor and Remember Flag of your own there as well.
They also have an Honor and Sacrifice Flag for Emergency Responders and Law Enforcement to honor those fallen heroes as well, and you can order those from their website.
