The Anson County Partnership for Children has named its 2015 photo contest winners.
Emma Jean Gulledge, 17 months, is the winner of the “Reading Matters” category for the photo of her enjoying her touch-and-feel book about tractors.
Karomari Leak, 3, is the winner of the “Be Happy, Be Healthy” category with the photo of him riding his bicycle wearing his bike helmet.
Briana Gaddy, 8 months old, is the winner of the “See Me Safe” category with the photo of her riding safely in her correctly installed car seat.
Each photo contest winner will each receive a book and a framed copy of the winning photo at the Anson County Partnership for Children board meeting on Thursday. Photo contest entries will be displayed at the partnership’s office and featured in the agency’s news releases, Facebook posts, website posts and other publications.
The Anson County Partnership for Children is a nonprofit public-private partnership formed in 1996 in response to the North Carolina Smart Start initiative. Its mission is “helping to make Anson County a better place to be a child and to raise a child.”
