The Anson County Partnership for Children invites interested four or 5-STAR child care centers to apply to become an N.C. Pre-K site for the next two years, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.

N.C. Pre-K is a pre-kindergarten program designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance kindergarten readiness for four year-olds who qualify. N.C. Pre-K centers are reimbursed through the state because qualified children receive services from N.C. Pre-K at no cost to the families. The site selection application and Division of Child Development and Early Education program guidelines and requirements are available at ansonchildren.org under N.C. Pre-K.

Interested providers must submit the application by mail or in person to the Anson County Partnership for Children with all necessary attachments no later than 5 p.m. on March 17. Each application will be reviewed and scored by the local N.C. Pre-K site selection subcommittee. The Partnership serves as the local contract administrator of the N.C. Pre-Kindergarten program. For questions concerning the N.C. Pre-K program or this application process, contact Caroline Goins at 704-694-4036.
