Anson County Parks and Recreation and the American Red Cross will hold a Wilderness and Remote First Aid class.

This class provides the foundation of first aid skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in the areas that do not have immediate EMS response. This include wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. You must be at least 14 years old by the end of the class and possess current adult CPR/AED certification.

Class length is approximately 16 hours. Class dates and times to be announced in July once registration has concluded. To register, visit the Anson County Parks and Recreation office at 845 Airport Road in Wadesboro. Deadline to register is Friday, June 29.
