The North Carolina Feral Swine Task Force is hosting a presentation for livestock and row crop producers at the Anson Cooperative Extension office May 23 at 6 p.m.

Anyone is welcome toa ttend.

The task force was formed in 2018 and consists of representatives from the state departments of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Health and Human Services, Wildlife Resources Commission, and the federal agencies for veterinary and wildlife services.

A news release says the agenda will include a short presentation about the mission of the task force and services it offers to control feral swine in the state. Representatives are hoping to get feedback on problems local producers have in Anson County.
