USDA food to be distributed

Burnsville Learning and Recreation Center will distribute USDA food Saturday, June 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.

BRLC workers asks that no one arrive before noon. The few items that are left will be distributed on Wednesday, June 19, at 2 p.m.

If you have not registered with BRLC emergency pantry, proof of income is required. Anson County families that receives federal food assistant automatically qualify.

Neighbors are always asked to please fill BRLC‘s parking lot first. Children are not allowed during this time. Burnsville’s Fire & Rescue have made their parking area available for the overflow.

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer services food Distribution Division provides these food items through the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Charlotte, and feeding America.
