Sinic and Bonnie Marsh, owners and operators of Quality Florist in Wadesboro, visited Anson Academy to speak to students about “Recognizing Your Gifts.”
They spoke about the importance of seeking and studying natural gifts, and finally building one’s profession around their talents and interests.
While on the Anson Academy campus, students were able to explore the craft of visualizing and then creating floral arrangements, while hearing about tools that are needed to be successful, self-employed business owners.
The Marsh’s stressed the importance of participating in activities that awaken interests that are possibly unknown to the learner.
Sinic Marsh stated that he was impressed with arrangements that were created by the students and opportunities such as these are good for networking.
“Mr. and Mrs. Marsh stressed the importance of professionals in the community taking time out to speak positivity to the youth in an effort to counter any negativity that is seen or heard,” said Anne Hyatt of Anson County Schools. “Each of the students enjoyed seeing the husband/wife team work together in order to develop a thriving business and share in the joy of making picturesque floral creations.”
