The agency that makes loving everyone its business, is being loved on by many with a much-needed new roof just in time for Christmas.
With much anticipation, Church Community Services of Scotland County has awarded the contract to CBA Roofing of Monroe.
Due to the generosity of the following individuals and agencies, the roof is paid for: Pee Dee Electric; Cape Fear Realtors and Scotland County Board of Realtors; Mr. Lonnie Humphreys; Central United Methodist Church; Emerson and Dinah Veler; Frederick Ludtke; Trinity Presbyterian Church; Scotland Motors; Mr. Kenneth Etheridge; Floyd Farms; First United Methodist Church; Mr. Edward Johnston, Jr.; Bobby and Patsy Whitehead; Nic’s Pik Kwik; Bright Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church; Koinonia Class of First Baptist Church; Mr. Charles Todd; Michael and Diane Vinson; Jane Tornow; First Bank; and others.
With the roof completed, the agency will now begin work this next year on repairing the damaged ceiling and walls. If you, or your organization is interested in adopting a room as a project, please contact the agency at 910-276-8330, e-mail scotlandccs@gmail.com or stop by the office located directly across from the Laurinburg post office at 108 S.
