Burnsville Recreation & Learning Center after-school program will host its annual Easter egg hunt Friday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Volunteers Tekesha Hammond and Nathan Sikes are the contacts for this event. The event is designed for all children ages 3 to 12 years of age. Older students are invited to come and volunteer their support in all areas where needed. Students’ volunteer service hours can be acquired during this event.

“She She the Bunny” will be the special guest and will take pictures with children. There will be time for creative activities and games. According to the release, children’s bikes along with other gifts will be raffled during the activities. Tickets will need to be purchased in order to be considered for the raffle. Tickets are available from any Learning Center volunteers.

A number of awards will be given, to include five children finding the most eggs; finder of the Golden Egg; those wearing Easter bonnets; and those that bring the most friends. All participants will receive gifts.

Children are encouraged to bring baskets.

Small children should be accompanied by parents. Food will be provided by the Learning Center’s volunteers and others.
