Angela Ratliff Rorie was officially adopted into the family of the late Ada Ford Singleton on May 29, fulfilling one of Singleton’s wishes. Rorie was raised by Singleton from a very small child. The adoption took place under the approval of Singleton’s son, the Rev. Charles Ford Sr., and grandson, Charles Ford Jr., at First Baptist Church in Wadesboro, where the Rev.
