South Piedmont Community College will host its annual two-day spring block party on May 6 and 7 at its campuses in Anson and Union counties. As in previous years, there will be free food, games, giveaways and a lot of other fun. But for this year’s event, “Spring Bling Block Party,” the college’s Institutional Effectiveness Department will be highlighting all of the ways South Piedmont is the “gem in your community.”

Everyone is invited to join the party, which will include inflatable games, a photo booth, disc golf, Kona Ice and more, and meet SPCC faculty, staff and students to learn more about the many opportunities South Piedmont Community College offers right here in Union and Anson counties.

“Spring Bling” will put the spotlight on South Piedmont’s many educational and outreach programs, including distance learning opportunities, the Small Business Center, support programs for the unemployed and underemployed and services for intellectually challenged adults.
