A man and woman were jailed Saturday night on meth-cooking charges.

Wadesboro police arrested 32-year-old Clint Warren Phifer and 28-year-old Kimberly Marie Caudill. Each suspect is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, according to jail booking records.

Phifer is on probation for a Sept. 24 conviction of possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture methampheramine in Anson County. He was scheduled to three years’ probation on the Class F felony charge, state records show.

His probation on June 2010 convictions for assault on an officer or state employee, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and causing wanton injury to personal property in Anson County was revoked in December 2010 after a marijuana arrest in Union County, according to the N.C. Division of Adult Correction.

Caudill successfully completed her probation on a September 2011 misdemeanor larceny charge in Union County, her only previous conviction.

Phifer and Caudill were each booked into the Anson County Jail under a $300,000 secured bond. They are scheduled to appear in court on the meth charges Jan. 5.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
