Election Day is coming up in less than two weeks, but there are some changes in store for Anson County voters this year.

Wadesboro voters will be the only ones with the opportunity to participate in absentee and early voting, as every other Anson town opted out due to the cost.

Early voters can cast their ballots Thursday through Oct. 31 at the Anson County Board of Elections office located at 402 Morven Road, Wadesboro. Citizens can vote from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 31.

ELECTION DAY

Only voters living inside the city limits will be able to vote in this municipal election, according to county elections officials.

On election day on Nov. 3, all Wadesboro voters from any precinct inside the city limits will vote at the Lockhart Taylor Center in the Ingram room at South Piedmont Community College located at 514 N. Washington St., Wadesboro.

Voters from all other municipalities will vote at their town fire department, with the exception of McFarlan voters, who will cast their ballot at the McFarlan Town Hall.
