MORVEN — Anson County deputies arrested a Morven woman on a murder charge Thursday.
Christa Anita Colson is accused of killing Kim Campbell on Thursday, according to the arrest warrant. She was arrested at 4:45 p.m. that same day.
Colson was booked in the Anson County Jail without bond on the first-degree murder charge. She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 16.
Colson has no record of criminal convictions in North Carolina and no other pending charges.
