Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge will hold Youth Fishing Day on Saturday.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. until noon. The fishing pond is three miles south of Ansonville at 5770 U.S. Highway 52 North, Wadesboro.
Sullivan Pond will be stocked with 400 catfish. There will be prizes for the biggest and the smallest fish. Snacks and a hot dog lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge. The event will be for kids 15 and under. Adults may stay and fish after noon.
