Thanksgiving is just around the corner, with Christmas not far behind. As Anson County residents are making their holiday gift lists, local arts boosters say it’s time to shop local.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, the Anson County Arts Council’s fifth annual Christmas in November Art & Crafts Sale at the Lockhart-Taylor Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. offers the opportunity to find unique gifts, support local artists and craftsmen and keep your money right here in Anson County.
The craft sale will feature unique pottery, jewelry, wood-crafted items, toys, folk art, crocheted items, Christmas decor and much more — all created by people who live and work in the area.
Admission to the annual sale is free. The arts council offers this event as a public service for area residents, artists, and artisans.
