Anson deputies charge man with reckless driving in chase

Anson County deputies arrested a man Friday after he allegedly drove dangerously and tried to escape arrest.

Donnie Ray Eason, 36, was charged with reckless driving to endanger, fleeing to delude arrest with a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny.

Eason was booked in the Anson County Jail at 12:41 p.m. Friday and is being held under a $10,000 secured bond, according to jail records. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 17.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
