WADESBORO ─ At 12:31 a.m., Sgt. Mario Kobersy responded to Hildreth Rd. following a report from a female victim advising dispatch that someone had come to her house, was refusing to leave as requested, and threatening to steal her dog. Kobersy learned from the victim that the allegedly inebriated suspect fled the scene in a white Ford pickup truck and stated to her that he intended to return to his home in South Carolina.
