WADESBORO — Kicking off the fall season, Burnsville Recreation and Learning Center celebrated their 9th Annual God Glorious Charity Ride on Sept. 26.
The outdoor event brought together guests from Anson, surrounding counties and even Jacksonville, Fl., plus some four-legged friends. Every year, the charity ride raises money to support the learning center and their services to low income families in the area.
Hosted by Motorcycles Riders, this year’s events included the Queen City Elite Jeep Enthusiasts, brought on by a previous BRLC student, Malerie Smith Selph. Selph reached out to help with the annual event as a way to give back. She brought in about 18 Jeep drivers to help support the event.
Participants enjoyed the cars and motorcycles, music food and a yard sale. The event wouldn’t have been successful without the support of Anson County neighbors, community members, local businesses and churches.
