Destiny Pickett and Brenre Taylor are two young ladies are making huge strides in their quest to become great tennis players.

They both received United States Tennis Association scholarships to attend Wake Forest University’s tennis camp this summer. This was a residential camp where these future tennis stars had the privilege of spending a week on campus, residing in the dorms, getting specialized tennis instruction and learning different tennis techniques at the world class Remmis Tennis Complex, home of the Winston-Salem Open.

Taylor, 15, of Morven, attends Anson County Early College and Pickett, 12, lives in Cheraw, South Carolina.

They attended camp from June 29 to July 2.
