Christmas shoppers may cross a few names off their lists when the Christmas in November opens next month.
The annual sale will bring vendors “from Anson County to Albemarle, Mt. Gilead to Oakboro, and from Pinehurst and Greensboro,” according to a release from the Anson County Arts Council, which holds the event.
Wares will include a variety of items, ranging from pottery and stained glass to fairy houses and horseshoe décor, encompassing a wide range of homemade pieces.
“This time of year, Americans spend millions of dollars on cheaply-made goods produced in foreign countries,” the Arts Council said in its release. “Why not buy American this year?”
The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at South Piedmont Community College’s Lockhart-Taylor Center, located at 514 North Washington Street, Wadesboro. Admission is free; vendors will keep 100 percent of sales profits.
