Mark your calendars for the weekend of Sept. 20-21, the dates for this year’s Anson Ag Expo & Fair.
According to the press release, the event’s planning committee has started meeting to prepare for traditional and new fall festivities.
The annual 4-H Youth Livestock Show will be hosted by the Anson Cattlemen’s Association and be held at Matt and Paulette Hay Barn , located at 2385 Little Creek Road in Ansonville on Aug. 31.
The Ag Fair will be held at the Extension Center in Wadesboro on Saturday, Sept. 21. Again, this year there will be a Family Fall Fest, held at Circle G Arena on Friday night, Sept. 20 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The Family Fall Fest will feature fall and agriculture themed relays and competitions for kids, Food trucks/vendors, games for small children under the shelter, and more.
The 4-H Youth Livestock Show will begin at 10 a.m. The Ag Fair will be open to the public on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Wadesboro.
