POLKTON — Representing South Piedmont Community College (SPCC), Michelle Brock addressed Anson County Commissioners’ regarding the schools’ upcoming Open House celebration event taking place on April 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Polkton campus in collaboration with the Anson County Partnership for Children.
“I wanted to take just a moment to advertise the fact that South Piedmont Community College is having its first ever Saturday Open House. We will have help on hand to complete the FAFSA, which is the free application of federal student aid,” said Brock.
Another exciting aspect of the day according to Brock, is the school will open its doors, offering a rare opportunity for potential students to tour the campus.
“We will have bouncy houses and free food- first come, first served,” she announced, adding the Anson County Partnership for Children will be hosting their first ever Touch-A-Truck event at the Polkton campus that day as well.
“We are hoping that will bring a crowd out. We would love to see a large crowd at our Open House on April 5.”
