WADESBORO — A former Wadesboro resident and artist will make her dreams a reality as her debut novel releases on April 14.

While living in Wadesboro between 2005 and 2011, June Rollins offered watercolor classes, painted house portraits and local landmarks including First UMC, Calvary Episcopal Church and the Anson County Courthouse. Her husband was the Senior Pastor at First UMC.

Rollins holds memberships in the Watercolor Society of North Carolina and the Southern Watercolor Society. She has been published in Watercolor Artist, contributes to Yadkin Valley Magazine and is the author of Alcohol Ink Dreamscaping Quick Reference Guide.

She works in Brasstown, N.C. at the John C. Campbell School and is married to Reverend Robert Rollins, Jr., a senior pastor at Shady Grove UMC in Blairsville, G.A.

Her dreams of writing a novel are coming true as “She Lost Her Muse,” “The Maypole Artists” and “Book One” are set to be released.

She Lost Her Muse, is available on Amazon. The coming to age novel’s follows a young artist’s journey in overcoming self-doubt and discovering her true gifts.
