WADESBORO — Even as annual events were forced to cancel because of the pandemic, the community still came together to help raise money for Anson County’s 4-H programs.

In lieu of the annual 4-H Clover Crawl, fundraisers took to the virtual world to bid on a custom gift basket from Michael Horne Florist and Gifts, a Four Branches Shooting Preserve Package and two tickers to the 2022 4-H Clover Crawl Social.

4-H’s fundraising campaign and auction concluded on March 31, raking in over $7,000 for 4-H and 4-H Youth.

“We are extremely grateful for all the amazing support that we received,” a 4-H press release said. “Clover Crawl was missed this year, but we plan to be back in 2022. Mark your calendars for Friday, March 11, 2022 for the next Clover Crawl event!”
