Tickets for the 11th annual Barn Blast fundraiser are available now at the Anson County Partnership for Children.

The 2017 Barn Blast will be held Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, from 5-11:30 p.m. in the Ingram Room at South Piedmont Community College’s Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro. This event will feature dinner, dancing, drinks, games, and a silent and a live auction.

Reserved tables for eight people are available for a $400 donation ($50 per ticket). General admission tickets are $60 each. After Jan. 6, prices for reserved tables will increase to a $480 donation ($60 per ticket) and general admission tickets will not be sold. The Partnership encourages those interested in attending to purchase their Barn Blast tickets early before they sell out.

All proceeds from Barn Blast are used in Anson County for the Partnership’s many programs for young children. These programs include Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, where more than 1,100 Anson County children under the age of five are mailed a developmentally appropriate book each month to their homes. A new program funded by the Partnership is ReadyRosie, an online literacy program where parents and caregivers receive a short video each weekday by email or text, modeling activities they can do with their young children to promote learning using simple, and daily events.

For tickets or more information about the 2017 Barn Blast, call 704-694-4036 or visit the Partnership office located at 117 South Greene Street, Wadesboro.
