Anson High School looks to move above .500 on Friday night when it visits West Stanly in a Rocky River Conference football game.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The Bearcats are coming off a 33-28 loss to visiting Mt. Pleasant.
Anson is 1-1 in the Rocky River, deadlocked with Forest Hills for third place in the five-team league. The Bearcats are at Forest Hills on Nov. 2, then have a rescheduled non-conference game with Concord Robinson on Nov. 9.
West Stanly is 1-0 in the Rocky River, 4-3 overall and coming off a 55-48 triumph over Forest Hills on Oct. 5.
