Johnson Chapel Holiness Church will host the 20th Pastoral Anniversary for Bishop William E Taylor. Friday’s service begins at 7:30 p.m., with Pastor Lennon Parson as the guest speaker. Sunday’s service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor James Moore as the guest speaker. All are invited.

Evangelistic Outreach Center is hosting a Breafast Plate Sale from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The menu includes grits, eggs, sausage or bacon, toast, and juice or coffee for $6.

Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church is hosting its 25th annual Friends and Family Day program at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Anthony Hall, pastor of Flakes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Wadesboro.

May 4

Johnson Chapel Holiness Church will host its annual May Fest, beginning at 11 a.m. There will be food, fun and games. All are invited.

May 5

Johnson Chapel Holiness Church with host the 6th Appreciation Service for Elder Pearl Taylor at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Cindy Wiggins. All are invited.

Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church will have a pre-anniversary service for Dr. T.J. Horne at 3 p.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Waymeyer and dinner will be served immediately after the service.

June 1

Lilesville Park Family Fun Day will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Hotdogs, games, bingo, and a mobile clinic will be just a few of the activities.

• The Church of God of Prophecy, 8477 U.S. 52 in Morven, and Youth Pastor Dannie Montgomery hosts “Power of the Word Youth Bible Study” each Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m. All youth are invited to attend and learn how to apply the Word of God and the Power of God in their everyday lives. Adult Bible Study is held at the same time conducted by Elder N. Thompson and Pastor Iris Tillman.

• Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church Bible Study is every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
