BURNSVILLE — Christina Rose is a passionate educational leader who believes ALL students can learn.

She stands firmly on the belief that beautiful rewards are the result of students growing their reading, writing, and thinking skills. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a concentration in American, British, and Children’s Literature with a minor in African American Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. She has 15 years of experience in education and has worked as a Literacy Coach, a District Instructional Coach, and now serves as a School Climate and Culture Coach in Union County.

Throughout Rose’s career, she has received numerous Teacher of the Year Awards, including District Teacher of the Year. She finds joy in supporting students and teachers. She enjoys learning new things, traveling, and giving back to her community. She often shares that “it is through service that we develop character and our love for others.”

She prides herself on serving as a lifelong volunteer, especially at the Burnsville Recreation and Learning Center. She was one of the founding members of the Kids’ Cafe (the afterschool program at the center), an “opportunity that fueled her love for young people and education.”
