POLKTON — The Polkton Police Department concluded their investigation into an armed robbery on Jan. 4 after the suspect was found in Cumberland County.

On Dec. 29, the Polkton Police Department asked for public assistance in identifying and finding a suspect of armed robbery at the Polkton Dollar General by posting security camera photos on the department’s Facebook page.

The suspect was later identified as Damon McKeith Little. The police described Little as a light skin male, about 5’8” to 6’0” wearing a large watch and ring with blue and orange tennis shoes, with some blonde coloring in his hair.

Little was seen leaving a store in Polkton and entering a white four door car with a black female driver.

On Monday afternoon, Polkton Police Chief Tim Hutchinson said the department received a called that Little was picked up in Cumberland County.

Officers are driving to Fayetteville to receive Little and he will be charged back in Anson County. Some of the charges he will be facing are armed robbery with dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon and assault.
